Puppet Show & Story Telling of Pre-primary (9th April, 2018)
Puppets have been a versatile means of communication and expression. They are an edge between entertainment and education. Puppets can both teach and persuade. The puppets strike a deal with their creators. All puppets come to life as characters as soon as their creator starts moving them.
The Little Champs of TJIS had organized a puppet show for the pre-primary children. It was an interesting experience for the children. The pre-primary teachers used puppets and narrated the story “The Hare and the Tortoise” to convey the message to the children that slow and steady wins the race. A performance by the bright puppets, created the world in which all the children were caught in. This lively and entertaining show engaged the children in such a way that they were totally engrossed in the performance. The lesson learnt in this way is more likely to be remembered and becomes an integral part of one's memory. It was an enjoyable session for the children.
