SWACHH BHARAT MISSION

Let’s Make Swachh Bharat a Reality

Swachh School, Swachh Home, Swachh City then Swachh Bharat,

Cleanliness starts from you

Tuesday, 12th December, 2017

“A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019”, said our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as he launched the Swachh Bharat Mission. Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) or Clean India Mission is a campaign in India that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India's cities, smaller towns and rural areas.

The school has appointed a Committee that will look into the matters related to Swachh Bharat Mission :

To acquaint the students with this Cleanliness Drive and develop civic sense twenty students accompanied by four teachers visited the Ganges Ghat at Parmat, Kanpur, from The Jain International School, on Tuesday, 12th December, 2017. The team gave their full support in cleaning the premises. They picked up the litter of that area and later the solid waste was treated by dumping it in the pits.

Through placards, our students requested the residents of the area to keep their surroundings clean and separate the wet and dry litter. The students distributed paper bags to the vendors of that area and urged them to use paper bags instead of polythene bags.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the campaign started by the Government of India for making India a clean and green country. As a citizen of India be a part of it in making of clean India. Do not throw any garbage on the roads and keep your surroundings clean.

“BE THE CHANGE THAT YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD” Mahatma Gandhi
