INTER-HOUSE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2014-15

9^th, 10^th  and 11^th July, 2014

Sports and games have now come to stay in our civilization as an essential feature of human activity, and their object is not merely fun, they also instill the sprit of discipline and team-work. Games like cricket, hockey and foot ball are popular because of the sprit of team work which they inspire. This, no doubt, is true. The discipline that is gained in playing up games is invaluable in later life. It makes for a life of co-operation and team work which could be used for building up a great society and a nation.

Keeping in view the benefits of games and to boost up competitive spirit in the students The Jain international School conducts Inter-house Sports Tournaments on regular basis.

Inter-house Football Competition for GROUP C i.e. classes 9^th to 12^th was held on 9^th and 10^th July and for  GROUP B i.e. classes 6^th to 8^th  on 11^th July in which the teams of all the four houses participated with full zeal and energy.

The team members of all the four houses were introduced to the Principal Mrs. Ira Bhat who wished them good luck and declared the tournament open.

GROUP B

Ist match was played between RED JAGUARS V/S BLUE PANTHERS.  Red Jaguars qualified for the Finals by scoring 5-4 goals.(Tie-breaker)

2^nd Match was played between YELLOW TIGERS V/S GREEN LEOPARDS in which Yellow Tigers qualified for the Finals by scoring 5-3 goals. (Tie-breaker) 

The match for Third position was played between GREEN LEOPARDS V/S BLUE PANTHERS and Green Leopards won by 4-2 goals. (Tie-breaker)

The Final Match was played between YELLOW TIGERS V/S RED JAGUARS in which Yellow Tigers won  by 1-0. The winning goal was hit by Adeesh Verma of class 10.

GROUP C

1^st Match was played between   RED JAGUARS V/S BLUE PANTHERS in which  Red Jaguars qualified  for the Finals by scoring 1-0 goal. The winning goal was hit by Kunwar Veer Singh of Class 12

2^nd Match was played between YELLOW TIGERS V/S GREEN LEOPARDS  in which Yellow Tigers qualified for the Finals by scoring 1-0goals. Prashant Gupta scored the winning goal.

The match for Third position was played between GREEN LEOPARDS V/S BLUE PANTHERS and Green Leopards won by 1-0 goals. The winning goal was hit by Aviral Sharma of Class 12

The Final Match was played between RED JAGUARS V/S YELLOW TIGERS in which Red Jaguars won by 1-0. Kunwar Veer Singh once again proved his mettle by hitting the winning goal.
