A Visit to Church by Little Champs, TJIS, Kanpur on 20th December, 2024
" A church visit renews the spirit and calms the soul."
To foster an understanding of diverse religions and cultures, TJIS, Kanpur, organized a visit to St. Francis Xavier's Church, Ashok Nagar, Kanpur for the students of classes (Pre-Primary to V)
The church was adorned with beautiful decorations, including posters of Jesus Christ, bells and Christmas trees, creating a festive ambience. The little ones were introduced to the life of Jesus Christ and the significance of Christianity. They had the opportunity to see the Holy Bible and a replica of Jesus Christ.
The father of the church blessed the children and extended his heartfelt wishes. The students sang melodious Christmas carols, filling the church with festive cheer. The highlight of the visit was the joyful entry of Santa with jingling bells and spreading laughter, joy and candies amongst the children.
The visit concluded with the singing of Christmas carols, leaving the students with a sense of joy and enlightenment.
