Trips and Excursions
FROM KASHMIR TO KANYAKUMARI
The world definitely stretches beyond the boundaries of a text book and we at THE JAIN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, KANPUR advocate just that. Running parallel to academics is our mission to accomplish holistic education of our students. Planned expeditions and trips form an integral part of our programme as these intend to break down the set structures created by classroom teaching, exposing our students to a reality outside their limited experience so that they may learn to cope with unexpected difficulties and in the process, mature.
Since the inception of the school we have been conducting local, national and International educational trips to give a practical aspect to the knowledge gained within the school premises.
As far as the local trips are concerned the students are given an opportunity to visit local factories to understand their working technology.
Educational Trip to the Historical city of Jaipur And Ranthambore during The Winter Vacation was very educative. At Jaipur, the group visited the magnificent Amber Fort - built during the reign of Raja Mansingh in the 17th century,The HawaMahal, The JalMahal and JantarMantar - the Observatory. They also visited Ajmer and Pushkar where they saw Brahma's Temple, The Pushkar Lake and Pushkar bazaar. The traditional Rajasthani Village was indeed a plethora of culture, dance, music and food of Rajasthan.
The breathtaking view of the Ranthambore Fort and Safari to the world famous Ranthambore Tiger Reserve thrilled the students.
Such trips not only enhance their love for nature but also boost the practical knowledge of the students.
