National Mathematics Day Celebrations @ TJIS, Kanpur on 20th December, 2024

TJIS, Kanpur celebrated National Mathematics Day on 20th December, 2024 with great enthusiasm and a variety of engaging activities. The day commenced with a special assembly where students from Classes VI to XII participated in a Rubik's competition, demonstrating their problem-solving skills. A Sudoku competition was also organized, which tested the logical reasoning abilities of the participants.

In classrooms, several creative and interactive activities were conducted to enhance students' mathematical understanding. 

Students of Class V explored the "Types of Triangles" through hands-on activities, making learning both fun and educational whereas the students of 

Class VI prepared vibrant wall hangings illustrating the divisibility rules, while Class VII worked on an innovative project titled "Quadrilateral Family Tree." 

To inspire young minds, a special screening of a movie on the life and contributions of mathematician Srinivasan Ramanujan was organized. Further, Class VIII students showcased their mathematical knowledge in a dynamic Maths Quiz, while Class IX engaged in chart-making activities, presenting various mathematical concepts creatively.

The celebration was a blend of knowledge and creativity, providing students with a platform to explore and appreciate the beauty of mathematics.
