Cooking is an art in itself. It is an essential thing in everyday life. Since human kind discovered fire, cooking was invented. Cooking is one of the oldest arts and one which has rendered us the most important service in civic life. Apart from serving the hunger, there are many purposes to cooking. In fact, it is said that the easiest way to a man’s heart is through the stomach”. It can also be said that cooking is an indication of the level of civilization that we have attained as more and more new varieties, methods and techniques of cooking are adopted.
The kitchen is the most fascinating place for young kids. They see grown – ups working briskly there, watch the steam rise from the pots, and smell what’s on the menu. The kids are enthusiastic to learn how baked goods and meals come together. To satiate their curiosity a Non Fire Activity – Foodie – Goodie was organized at Little Champs for Classes PG to V, on Friday, 14th February wherein each and every Little Champ, dressed as a Chef displayed his / her cooking talent and astonished us with their delicious menu, and that too without lighting a fire. The presentation and taste of the prepared dishes was par-excellence.
The School Principal Mr M. K. Panda, Senior and Junior Headmistress Mrs Deepa Singh and Mrs Rekha Singh visited the classes and witnessed and appreciated the tasty dishes prepared by the students.
