71^st Republic Day Celebration

At TJIS, Kanpur

On Sunday, 26^th January, 2020

‘Let us see a dream on this Republic Day;

One nation, one vision and one identity.’

The lively celebration commenced with the unfurling of our National Flag by Honourable Principal, Mr. M.K.Panda, Headmistress Little Champs, Ms. Rekha Singh and Headmistress Senior School Ms. Deepa Singh. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness of our country.Principal Sir, in his address, congratulated the audience and urged the students to respect their country, its constitution and work with full dedication towards their aim in life for the betterment of their country.

The Cultural programme consisted of Patriotic Song, Dance performance and Speech in English by Kratika Singh of Class VII and in Hindi by Kanak Tewari and Sanvi Yadav of Class V.

The day was celebrated as the Sports Day and students from classes P.G. to class XII showed their competence and fighting spirit by participating in different races planned for them by their experienced teachers and sports department. The races by the teachers added cherry to the cake.The winners of the races were felicitated by Principal Sir, Junior Headmistress and Senior Headmistress.

Mansi Manwani, Kalpana Raikwar and Shaurya Sharad Shukla held the reigns of the entire programmme very skilfully.

The eventful day concluded with the ‘Vote of Thanks’ by Ms Nargis Kapoor.

Overall, The Jain International School celebrated Republic Day wrapped in tricolour fervour of Pride and Patriotism. The Principal, teachers and students didn’t leave any stone unturned in making this auspicious day a memorable one.
