The Jain International School organized its Annual Cultural Fest to offer to the City of Kanpur a day full of delectations on Sunday, 1^st December, 2019 with ‘Esperanza The Cosmos 2019’ and ‘The Grand Finale of Voice of Kanpur’.

The shimmering and enthralling day was shone with the presence of the dignified members of Shrinathji Group of Institutions – Chairman Shri Amarnath Ji Agarwal, Managing Trustee Mr Kapil Agarwal, Mrs Sadhna Pandey, Principal, TJWS, CBSE City Co-ordinator Mr Balwinder Singh, Members of the School Advisory Board, Media Persons, Principals and other eminent guests.

Respectable Principal Mr. M. K. Panda, Headmistress Senior School Ms Deepa Singh and Headmistress Junior School Ms. Rekha Singh greeted the guests by offering them planters.  

The day began with ribbon cutting ceremony and lighting of the auspicious lamp by the dignitaries. The cultural events of the day commenced with the offering of prayers to ‘Lord Ganesha- the Pratham Vandaniya’. The cultural fiesta witnessed participation of students from classes Pre Primary to XII.

Mash up with thaap- a jugal-bandi of tabla with ghunghroo enticed the audience with their perfect sync. The fantabulous TJIS Rockband rocked the audience by presenting a blend of classical & contemporary music on Indian and western instruments through the lyrics. The Little Champs actively gave their participation through music, dance and singing in entertaining the elite gathering.

The attraction of the evening was Voice of Kanpur which became a heart throb of many Kanpurites and lit a hope in the scintillating singers of the city that, here we embraced them open arms and they were felicitated for their ability of singing.

Honourable Shri Indra Mohan Rohtagi ji presided over the function as the Chief Guest for the Mega Premier Event ‘Voice of Kanpur’. The Judges for The Voice of Kanpur  were the great Music Maestros Dr Amit Singh, Mr Gopal Sharma and Mr Vikas Bhatt. 

The Winners of Voice of Kanpur are as follows:

2^nd  Runners Up – Nishkarsh Tripathi

 

1^st Consolation – Avashi Sharma

2^nd Consolation – Shaanvi Jaiswal

VOK 2 – Vaibhav Gupta

1^st Runners Up – Rachit Bajpai

2^nd  Runners Up – Naincy Sharma

1^st Consolation – Sankalp Sachan

2^nd Consolation – Vaibhav Bharadwaj

 

The winners were rewarded with the cash prizes of INR 21,000, 15,000 and 11,000 respectively for the VOK 1 & 2, 1^st Runners up and the 2^nd Runners up.

The evening concluded with the felicitation of staff and students who had worked endlessly to make this day a memorable one.

The fantabulous Sunday, full of fun and frolic came to an end with a Vote of Thanks and the audience departed carrying the music & memorable evening in their hearts.

‘As the word ESPERANZA signifies joy and celebrations - Our sheer determination for success has brought us on the brink of perfection to envisage this day as the best memories for all present.
