A Visit to International Art Youth Festival

‘Art is something that defines every unspoken feelings of heart without a word’

A team of 25 students and two teachers from the Art Department of The Jain International School visited the Fine Art Institute of the Kanpur University Campus to witness the last minute preparations of the artists from all over the world. The University of Kanpur, hosted artists from seven countries and from more than ten states of India.

The presence of more than 500 painting and sculpture virtuoso from internationally renowned schools of art confirmed the magnanimity of the festival. The arena was buzzing with excitement and the spectacular glow of hues.

 The theme of the Exhibition was to propose more positive aspects of career opportunities, freedom, delving into the Divine and Salvation; they focussed on the obsolete forms of art as an  alarming concern. The students learnt to make sculptures out of hay and dried woods.

The display was remarkable; it was a wonderful experience for the students to find the way in colours.
