The students from Grades P. G, Nursery, L. Kg and U. Kg of The Jain International School visited the “Gurudwara at Azad Nagar, Kanpur, on Friday,8th October, 2019. Educational trips are an integral part of the curriculum at The Jain International School. Such trips provide the opportunities for religious learning to the students. The children were very excited on the bus ride from the school to the Gurudwara. In the initial segment of the visit, the story of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was narrated to the students and how he preached to live with peace and satisfaction.
The tiny tots, accompanied by teachers, firstly went to the Gurudwara entrance where they took off their shoes at one side and then entered and bowed in front of ‘Gurugranth Sahib’ They also received Prasad. The trip was quite interesting and informative for them.
