Hindi Diwas is celebrated on September 14, to pay tribute to the official language of India. To Commemorate Hindi Diwas, Hindi Recitation Competition was organized for Pre Primary Section of The Little Champs on Friday, 13th September, 2019.
Poem Recitation is a mode of expression, a medium to reflect the latent talents of the young ones where by a child is given an opportunity to observe, listen, speak and act, to make a strong foundation, for his or her intelligence. Delivery of poems develops the physical, social, mental and psychological aptitude of the tiny tots.
Activities and academics go hand in hand for the students overall development. Rhymes can prove to be instrumental stepping stones for young children to improve speaking Skills. These help them especially in the early stages of learning the language.
All the children participated in the activity with different Hindi rhymes based on different themes. Each child was given a chance to recite a rhyme and it was a delight to hear these little ones singing in rhyme and rhythm.
The esteemed judges for the event Mrs Rekha Singh, Mrs Maninder Kaur and Mrs Sunita Jain judged the tiny tots for Costume and Props, Recitation and Pronunciation, Confidence, Time Limit and Overall Presentation.
The winners were lauded with a token of appreciation.
