“Devotion begins at home, inside your own awareness”
We, at The Jain International School believe in the holistic development of our students, so, varied events and festivals are organized with enthusiasm and religious serenity to inculcate cultural and spiritual values in them.
The festival of Janamashtami, the Birthday of Lord Krishna, is round the corner and the celebrations have begun. The festivities initiated with a visit to the ISKCON Temple and offering prayers to Radha Krishna. The students from Classes PG to V, accompanied by teachers visited The ISKCON Temple on Monday, 19th August, 2019.
They saw and learnt so many important things about “Lord Krishna” and they got to know why and how “Janmashtami “is celebrated. By this visit they knew what the real friendship is by knowing about” Krishna and Sudama”.
The students were spell bound to see the grandeur of the temple. They offered prayers with their friends and were given Prasad by the Temple priests.
