Truly small strings of creativity can fortify the bond of love care and affection.
‘Our paths may change as
Life goes along, but the bond
Between us remains ever strong’
Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love and affection between brothers and sisters which is the deepest and noblest of all the emotions.
To commemorate this festival a Rakhi Making activity was organized at The Jain International School, Kanpur, on 13th and 14th August. The students put in all their imagination and love in creating beautiful threads of rakhis using different materials like silk, beads, stars, ribbons, glitter sheets, glossy papers, etc. They cheerfully exhibited their creativity by showcasing versatilities in their unique designs and patterns. They seemed quite excited to present their imagination wrapped in love as a token of bonding.
The activity commenced with an interactive session wherein the teachers told the students about the importance of Rakhi and the festival Ranshabandhan. They were told to keep their family values intact and follow their customs religiously. They were told about the sacred bond between a brother and sister and as to how rakhi symbolizes the sister’s love and prayers for the brother’s well-being and his lifelong vow to protect her.
The celebration of this festival signifies the beautiful family bond of trust and protection.
