The Student Council for the session 2019-20 was ready to pledge themselves to the progress and integrity of the school On Friday, 26th April, 2019 during the grand ‘Investiture Ceremony’ which instilled a sense of responsibility and pride in the office bearers.

The air was filled with excitement and enthusiasm when honourable Principal Mr M. K. Panda, Senior School and Little Champs Headmistress Mrs. Deepa Singh and Mrs. Rekha Singh respectively walked in to honour the newly elected Office Bearers.

The newly appointed Little Champs and Senior School Council Members were adorned with sashes and badges and their respective flags. The oath of office was administered by Respected Principal Sir to the Council Members. They promised to discharge their duties earnestly and fulfil everyone’s expectations. Thereafter the entire school pledged to the Head Boy, Vedansh Jaiswal  and Head Girl, Tannishtha Roy to take the school to the zenith of success.

Honourable Principal Mr M. K. Panda enthused the ‘young leaders’ to uphold the values of the school and to keep TJIS flag flying high while discharging their duties honestly and impartially.

Ms Swati Chaurasiaand Ms Nargis Kapoor held the reins of the programme very skilfully till the end.

The aim of instituting the Student Council at The Jain International School is to enable our students to understand their rights, duties and responsibilities and to empower and train them to become leaders.
