Fancy Dress Competition

At The Little Champs (Pre-primary)

At TJIS, Kanpur

The winners were –

First - Yash Gupta (Nursery) as a Soldier

Second - Abhuday Singh (U.K.G.) as Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi

& Sadhya Chaudhary (L.K.G.) as Mangal Pandey

Third - Jay Singh (L.K.G.) as Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru

& Aaradhya Agarwal (U.K.G.) as a Teacher

 

On Friday, 15^th February, 2019 the pre-primary students of classes P.G. to U.K.G. of the Little Champs of TJIS participated in Fancy Dress Competition to enhance their understanding about our Helpers, Freedom Fighters and National Leaders. The students of classes P.G. and Nursery were dressed up as Helpers like doctor, teacher, chef, soldier, barber and farmer while classes L.K.G. and U.K.G. were dressed up as Freedom Fighters like Mangal Pandey, Bhagat Singh and Subhash Chandra Bose and National Leaders like Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. The participants introduced themselves and spoke a few lines on their personality. All the students of classes 1 to 5 were a witness to this great “Learning By Doing Activity” and they casted their votes in the ballot box for choosing the winners. In this way they understood the concept of voting and the use of ballot box as a part of their Social Science project.

 

All the participants and winners were applauded. It was indeed an eventful day for the children and they learnt a lot.  The result was as follows:-
