Cleanliness should be taken as the first and foremost responsibility by everyone. Everyone should understand that cleanliness is as necessary as food and water. However, we should give cleanliness a first priority instead of the food and water. We can be healthy only if we take everything within us in a very clean and hygienic way. Childhood is very good time of everyone’s life during which the habit of cleanliness can be practiced just like walking, speaking, running, reading, eating, etc under the careful and regular watch of the parents and teachers.
The Little Champs of The Jain International School took a step towards cleanliness for their children to give them a healthy life. This step was taken for the pre-primary students by means of conducting an activity of ‘We Learn to be Clean’. They recited the rhyme ‘Brush, Brush, Brush your Teeth’. The children learnt about the importance and necessity of cleanliness in their lives by enacting on a rhyme. They leant to brush their teeth twice in a day, take a bath, comb their hair, wash their hands before and after every meal, trim their nails, clean their ears by using an ear bud, etc. The children also brought various things used in cleanliness from their homes like toothpaste wrapper, soap wrapper, shampoo empty sashet, comb, tissue paper, etc and pasted these things in their scrap book as an activity.
