The students of The Jain International School had a day that commenced to deviate them from the path of addiction towards mobile phones. The notion that the dignitaries from India’s leading University put forward to throw light on irrational dependency was-
“Mobile Phone is for human usage, human beings are not for being mobile slave”.
Sir questioned the students if they could define addiction. He further asked the students the difference between habit and addiction. He outlined the differences between the same referring to how worse the affects of addiction can be. He enlightened the students with the symptoms of mobile phone addiction. He also put forward the adverse effects of social networking sites of which the youth has become slave. The animations that the team had shown the students helped them visualize what slavery the youth is getting into. They introduced the students to a new program initiated by Amity University to combat the irrational dependency on mobile phones.
The students were imbibed with positivity that the adverse effects viz. insomnia, depression and anxiety shall not havoc the youth. They accepted the challenge of not being a technology slave that would lead them to the darkness of life.
