The day began on a favourable and fortunate note when the students of The Jain International School could get a chance to be a part of this enlightening session. The session commenced with a question which required the meaning of the Sanskrit shloka-
“Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu
Gurur Devo Maheshwara
Guru Saakshaat ParaBrahma
Tasmai Sri Guruave Namaha”.
The students explained that the teacher is equal to God as he shapes the life of a student. It was an interactive and a two communicative session. The students were shown an animation that was based on a story of a little diligent boy Kunal who sought to get what he wished for just by staying low-key, patient and respectful towards his parents. The agenda of the session was to imbibe the students with the seven character traits viz. prudence, temperance, courage, justice, love, hope and faith which are utmost to let the existence of human race on this planet. The human life that is full of vanity today has led to the downfall of pristine culture.
The way Ms. Anmol Tiwari and Mr. Shukla held a session that involved the major participation of students to find out what is appropriate and what should be followed, caught everyone’s attention. They guided the students that they shall follow their dreams but on the way they shall carry forward their virtues. They ended the session with a suggestion that one shall respect the elders and while keeping a vision for life.
