Blue Day cum Mocktail Party

At The Little Champs, TJIS, Kanpur

     Blue is the colour of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith and truth.

 

     It was a fun-filled day for the Pre-primary students of the Little Champs of TJIS as they celebrated ‘Blue Day cum Mocktail Party’ on Tuesday, 25^th September, 2018. This day acquainted the little cherubs with the concept of blue colour and objects related to it.

 

     The significance of each colour is reiterated whereby students and teachers dress according to the colour celebrated on a particular day.

 

     The corridor was beautifully decorated with blue coloured objects and balloons according to the island theme. The day started where the tiny tots recited the rhyme, ‘We Love Blue’. Everyone enjoyed the Blue Day by participating in an activity of colouring a cut-out of a cloud and pasting the raindrops on a ribbon.

 

     The little ones enjoyed their day to the fullest by playing the game, ‘Fill Me Quickly’, in which the children had to fill a glass with water by pouring it with a small bowl.    

 

     The tiny tots relished a mocktail drink of mixed juice and were extremely excited to carry home an eye mask as a return gift.
