On Friday, 14th September, 2018
Hindi Divas is celebrated on 14th September because on this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India had adopted Hindi written in Devanagari script as the official language of the Republic of India. BeoharRajendraSimha, the acclaimed Hindi-stalwart, on his 50th birthday on 14th September, 1949, Hindi was adopted as the Official Language of Republic of India, celebrating it as "Hindi-Day" since then.This decision was ratified by the Constitution of India that came into effect on 26th January 1950.
Where by a child is given an opportunity to observe, listen, speak and act, to make a strong foundation, for his or her intelligence.
Activities and academics go hand in hand for the students overall development. Rhymes can prove to be instrumental stepping stones for young children to learn English. These help them especially in the early stages of learning the language. Keeping this in mind, the Rhyme Time Activity of Pre-primary from Grades P.G. to U.K.G. was organized on the occasion of “Hindi Divas”on14th September, 2018. All the children participated in the activity with different Hindi rhymes based on different themes. Each child was given a chance to recite a rhyme and it was a delight to hear these little ones singing in rhyme and rhythm. Overall the students showed their confidence, expression and talent in the activity and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. After the activity, every child was given a token of chocolate.
This Rhyme Time Activity developed the physical, social, mental and psychological development of the tiny tots of TJIS.
