Intra Class Friendship Band Making Competition

     Everyone agrees, friendship is the most important relationship and makes everything in life a little more fun. In the words of Shakespeare: “A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.” 

    Our students hail from different religions and their families speak different languages, but they all have one thing in common – friendship. This is the reason we celebrated Friendship Day at the Little Champs of TJIS by means of an ‘Intra Class Friendship Band Making Competition’ for Grades I to V which also contributed an art piece of making beautiful Friendship Bands as a token of appreciation. Friendship bands have been around, probably for as long as friends have been around! The aim was to foster friendship bond between the students. This provided a symbolic way to build on our heritage of love by sharing its meaning with others. The children loved making them.
