Yellow is the perceived colour of sunshine. It is associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy.

Yellow Day (On Friday, 27^th April, 2018)

The yellow glistens.

It glistens with various yellows,

Citrons, oranges and greens

Flowering over the skin.         

    Yellow shines with optimism, enlightenment and happiness. Shades of golden yellow carry the promise of a positive future. The pre-primary students of The Little Champs celebrated Yellow Day with great enthusiasm. The students were all dressed in yellow school uniform. The event was celebrated to acquaint the little cherubs with the concept of yellow colour and objects related to it.

    The corridor was beautifully decorated with yellow balloons, objects and zoo animals. The students recited the yellow day rhyme. As a yellow day craft work, they made Sun with thermocol  plate which further strengthened the yellow colour recognition. The day concluded with a party wherein they relished corn chat, maggie and mango juice. Children left to their homes with the sunflower eye mask as a return gift.

 

Yellow is the colour of the east, childhood, and morning.
