Earth Day is all about appreciating the uniqueness of our planet with its incredible biodiversity. Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22. On this day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now celebrated in more than 193 countries each year. On this day various national and international activities are conducted to understand the biodiversity and how should we protect our nature – plants, animals and environment.
To commemorate Earth Day several Inter Class activities were conducted at The Jain International School on Saturday, 21st April, 2018. Classes 6th to 10th were engaged in Collage Making and Poster Making Competition and class 11th penned down their views on different topics like ‘Save Resources, Save Earth, Save Future’, Save Trees and Save Your Life’, ‘Conservation is a State of Harmony Between Men and Land’, ‘Leave the Earth a Better Place’.
