Green Day Celebration of Pre-primary for the Earth Day (Friday, 20th April, 2018)
Green is the predominant colour in the nature and today it’s often associated with environment-friendly choices and life style.
Earth Day reminds us to be better stewards of our Earth. It is celebrated to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s natural environment among the students. It is celebrated worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection.
“The Earth is what we all have in common.”
All the pre-primary students of grades P.G., Nursery, L.K.G. and U.K.G. were dressed up in shades of green. The corridor was beautifully decorated with the green colour vegetables, fruits, animals and scene of a garden. Everyone enjoyed the ‘Green Day’ thoroughly in a craft activity in which they made an alligator. They also did an activity which was based on ‘Earth Day’ in which they sowed the saplings in a thermocol glass and also coloured and pasted the Earth on the cutting of two hands.
The tiny tots were extremely excited to carry the Plantation glasses home as a return gift.
“On Earth there is no heaven, but there are pieces of it.”
