Graduation Ceremony of Grades U.K.G. and V (24th March, 2018)
“A Graduation Ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that 'individuality' is the key to success.”
Graduation – a time for reflection, a time for goodbyes, for memories recalled and for a bright new world – waiting there… yours for the taking! The Little Champs of The Jain International School celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of Grades U.K.G. and V. This was a great occasion in the lives of the children as they became the little graduates. It was also due recognition for the outstanding work of the staff and also a pretty emotional day for the parents. The happy smiling faces said so much about the environment.
The programme commenced with a Welcome song. Our little kindergarten graduates were dressed up in black identical caps and robes. Then, they were awarded with the certificates and degrees along with a token of gift as they have all grown up since they have passed their pre-primary education and have stepped to primary education. The most interesting thing is that their uniform will be changed from the next year. Our energetic and enthusiastic kids had not left even a single stone unturned to please and impress their parents.
Then, it was time to acknowledge the talent of our brimming buddies of Grade V. The fruit of hard work and discipline was finally reaped by awarding them with the certificates and degrees along with a token of gift. They were also given titles which were enclosed in their degrees as it was time for them to leave the Little Champs and step towards the middle school. So, before they leave our block, everyone sat back and enjoyed themselves by a lively and energetic dance performance.
Our young children will move into a new year – a year with new challenges to deal with. As they move into their respective tomorrows, so bright with goals already achieved and more dreams still to aspire to, we say to them… ‘Enjoy being four today with all your heart and soul… and worry less about preparing to be five.’
You have it within you – seize it with both hands… like an amazing bunch of graduation flowers. Hold onto your uncanny gift of finding everything in nothing, of not only seeing seven wonders in the world – but several thousand.
The ceremony closed with a Vote of Thanks by the Headmistress Ma’am which was followed by the National Anthem. Then, the parents dispersed towards the junior block for the Annual PTM.
