“God is Our Great Helper.”
I'm not a superhero - I'm a super worker!
‘Our Helpers’ Activity of Pre-primary at the Assembly Hall of TJIS on Thursday, 15th February, 2018
On Thursday, 15th February, 2018 the pre-primary students of classes Nursery to U.K.G. of the Little Champs of TJIS celebrated community ‘Helpers Day’ to show our love and gratitude towards our helpers. The students were dressed up as people who help us in each and every day of life. Each and every child came dressed up as a community helper like policeman, doctor, nurse, tailor, painter, grocer, chef, gardener, soldier, postman, etc. It was amazing to see the children speak about what they were dressed up as. It was indeed and eventful day for the children as through this interaction with different people they learnt a lot.
They were told about the importance of helpers in our life. This activity gave the message that every work is equal and important. The Headmistress of the Little Champs, Ms. Soumee Sarkar spoke about the precious gift of “HELPERS” given to our school by God. The students learnt the value of dignity of labour and love, respect and kindness to all.
“Not everyone who has helped or is helping you wanted or wants to help you.”
