HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY AT TJIS, KANPUR 14th November, 2017
‘A day to bring the child in you alive’
HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY
AT TJIS, KANPUR
14th November, 2017
Children embody all that we cherish: innocence, forgiveness, friendliness, joy, caring & sharing, creativity & unconditional love
Children's Day is celebrated on the 14th of November in India as a tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who is fondly called Chacha Nehru for his love for the children. Apart from his role as a Freedom Fighter and Politician, Pandit Nehru has left behind a legacy of education and development of children in the country. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru once said “The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country”
The cheerful morning of 14th November, 2017 dawned with surprises for the children at The Jain International School when they saw their dear teachers conducting the Morning Assembly as religiously as it is conducted regularly by them. This was followed by a mesmerizing cultural Programme of song, music and dance performed by the teachers.
Today it was the day for the children to celebrate and the teachers did not leave even a single stone unturned to entertain them and make them feel important. The students were awestruck to see their dear teachers indulged whole heartedly in entertaining them and making it a memorable day for them. The lyrical numbers by Respected Principal Mr M. K. Panda and Headmistress Mrs Soumee Sarkar added a cherry to the cake. Sir and Ma’am conveyed their heartiest Wishes and Blessings to the children for now and forever.
It is very rightly said ‘Days are not lost when memories are created’. Indeed this buzzing morning of 14th November will leave a permanent imprint on the hearts of the children at TJIS.
