Red Colour Day Celebrations (30th August, 2017)
One of the most interesting and perhaps the hardest concepts to teach a child is “colours”. But at the same time, they love anything bright and colourful, isn’t the fact very interesting?
Red is the warmest of all colours. It symbolizes love, life and vitality. Red is also the colour of power and courage. We in the pre-primary section of the Little Champs have our own way to introduce to our little angels to different concepts, so our innovative team left a long lasting impression of “Red” colour on the little minds by celebrating our Red Colour Day. Cute faces all dressed in the red coloured sports dress enacted poem on ‘My Red Balloon’. The teachers narrated the story of Red Ridinghood in which the children happily enacted in it. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with red coloured objects, balloons and ribbons. The children enjoyed the day by doing fun activities of origami by making a red coloured paper bird which was based on fine motor skills which further strengthed the red colour recognition.
The corridor was decorated with the theme of Wonderland. The little ones enjoyed their day to the fullest by playing games like ‘Fill me with Red’ and got learned their red colour as well. The day concluded with a party wherein they relished the juicy apples and roohafza milk. They were extremely excited to carry back a head gear of heart as a return gift.
