Through dance, children develop spatial awareness, become less clumsy and pay more attention to others sharing their space. Children struggling with language can express their feelings with immediacy through dance and movement.

By communicating freely with the voice, face and body, children learn to express ideas with confidence, empathise with others from different cultures and backgrounds and feel at home in their own skin. Song, music and dance can help children become more imaginative, self-aware and collaborative global citizens.

KSS Inter School Competition Calendar includes all such curricular and co-curricular arenas that help in the all-round development of the students - music and dance being one of them.

KSS Inter School Group Dance Competition was held on Friday, 11^th August, 2017, at Allen House Public School, Khalasi Lines, Kanpur. As Independence Day is round the corner the theme of the competition was ‘Patriotic – Non- Filmy’.

Our School Dance Troupe consisting of 13 students contested with great energy and enthusiasm and bagged the SECOND POSITION among 33 contesting teams.

Respected Principal Mr M.K. Panda congratulated the participants and their Dance Teacher Ms Aparnika Sahu and felicitated them with the winning Trophy and certificates.
