A Bond of Love

 The weekend at TJIS is always throbbing with excitement as the students are involved in a variety of co-curricular activities especially when there are festivals round the corner.

'Raksha Bandhan' or 'Rakhi' is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. It brings all the blessings, love and care. The memories may fade away with time with time but the love and special bond brother and sister share will grow ever stronger with each day.

To commemorate this festival, a Rakhi Making Activity was organized for the students on Thursday, 3^rd August, 2017 at The Jain International School. The students made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like silken thread, ribbon, beads, etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side.

To commemorate Friendship Day and strengthen the bond of friendship a Friendship Band Making Activity was conducted for classes 6^th to 10^th on Saturday, 5^th August. The students did a wonderful job and made beautiful bands and creatively decorated them.

Truly small strings of creativity can fortify the bond of love care and affection.
