There's no other love like the love for a brother. There's no other love like the love from a brother.
Raksha Bandhan is an ancient festival and has many myths and historic legends linked to it. It is a Hindu festival that celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters. It is used to celebrate any brother-sister relationship between men and women who are relatives or biologically unrelated. It is a sister's day when brothers and sisters reaffirm their bonds of affection. Sisters tie colourful threads or rakhis on their brother's wrist. The brothers in turn promise to protect their sisters and give them gifts.
To celebrate this special day, the children of the Little Champs of Grades P.G. to 5 had 'Rakhi Making' - CCA activity in which the children made beautiful Rakhis. Some boarders along with the teachers will also be visiting the Cantonnment area on the day of Raksha Bandhan to tie rakhis to the jawans.
