‘Cooking isn’t a beauty contest nor is it a fashion show; the priority is to cook delicious, serve beautifully and taste great’
It is believed that cooking is becoming a lost art and we, at The Jain International School are on a mission to bring it back - and to make it FUN! This came true on Sunday when a group of twenty four boarding students of classes 11th and 12th decided to give relaxation to the kitchen staff by ruling over their domain and cooking yummy meal for all. The day not only brought a change in their monotonous schedule but also gave them an opportunity to come out of their comfort zone and work together.
Our young chefs, adorned with their chef caps displayed their culinary talents and prepared scrumptious feast for all.The students were divided in six groups of boys and girls consisting of four students each. The menu comprised of Arhar Dal, ParvalAaloo, Fruit Raita, Mixed Salad, Pulao and Chapatis. All the groups were headed by teachers and wardens.
It is very rightly said that the way to one’s heart is delicious food. Our students served their dishes very meticulously and won the hearts of Respected Principal Sir, Headmistress Ma’am, teachers, wardens and their fellow students.
