INVITATIONAL SWIMMING TOURNAMENT

Swimming is not only a sport but an exercise also. Swimming sounds fun to those who swim for fun, but those who breathe it, who live in and out of the water, can only know the true meaning of swimming. Competition in swimming takes more mental toughness to excel in than any other sport. To be ready for the competition you have to be mentally and physically fit.
The Swimming team of The Jain International School consisting of 23 students, both boys and girls represented the school at Allen House Rooma to contest at School level. The enthusiastic swimmers participated in different swimming events and bagged overall 54 Medals -13 Gold, 24 Silver and 17 Bronze Medals.
Shreya Rajbhar of class 5th Under 11- Girls, Shivangi Rajbhar of class 6th Under 14 – Girls and Suryansh Singh of Class 10th Under 14 - Boys brought laurels to the school by winning the Individual Championships.
Overall Runner-up Championship was bagged by our Girls team.
Overall Runner-up Championship for both Boys and Girls was also won by our School Team.

The students were accompanied by their swimming coaches Mr. Brijanand and Ms. Sita Sharma.
Respected Principal Mr M. K. Panda and Headmistress Ms. Soumee Sarkar congratulated the students for their commendable performance and gave the medals and trophies to the winners. It is indeed a proud moment for the entire TJIS family.
