PARENT ORIENTATION PROGRAMME -- MIDDLE SCHOOL

‘Education is the Shared Commitment Between Dedicated Teachers, Motivated Students and Enthusiastic Parents’

A  Parent Orientation Programme was organised for the parents of Middle School i.e. Classes VI to VIII at The Jain International School, Kanpur on Saturday, 15^th April, 2017 . The aim was to familiarize the parents, “As Partners in Progress” with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies, Tutorials,  Co-scholastic Activities and the New Examination , Assessment and Report Card Pattern as revised by CBSE Board. The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the parents and Light Refreshment.

 Honourable Senior School Principal, Mr M.K .Panda addressed the gathering. In his speech, he laid stress on effective communication between the teachers & the parents and also sought their support and suggestions so that the children could be provided the best for their overall development. Sir also gave guidelines about effective parenting and also suggested different measures to nurture a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future. It was an interactive session and sir also acquainted the parents about the Principal Advisor of the school, Mr Amitabh Mohan and also introduced one of the parents who sought advice for her son and is benefitted. The mother also shared her experience and appreciated the efforts of the school Management.

One of the parents also urged to enhance hands-on learning activities which not only give vent to the creative talents and energies of the students but also help in their all-round development of the child. Principal Sir assured the parents that the school is already involved in such ventures and will do so in future also.

The Orientation Programme proved to be a sincere effort made by the school in educating the parents to look after and guide their children in a proper manner. The parents left with a satisfaction that their ward is in safe hands who will not only expand the world view of their children but also teach them to lead and do great things.
