‘People come and go in life like changing weather; Friends, foes or colleagues, along with many others, but the only people in life who remain constant are parents like you who believe their kids to be the most important’
The last day of the year 2016 commenced with the Parent Teacher Meeting for FA3, FA4, UT3 and 1st Pre board. The parents visited their respective sections and classes to know about the progress of their wards. The centre of attraction for today in the Senior Section was the Maths Exhibitiom MOMATH – Museum Of Mathematics. The remarkable projects prepared by the students of Classes 6th to 10thunder the able guidance of their Maths teachers Mr ArpitRohatgi and Mr AdityaSrivastava mesmerised the parents. These exhibits displayed the topics like Lines and Angles, Solid Shapes, Types of Triangles, Bar Graph, Probability, 3D Figure, Algebraic Identities and a lot more. The models demonstrated the topics like Trigonometric Ratio, Lines and Angles, Clinometer, Square Root Spiral, Geometrical City, Funny Mathematical Letters, etc.
PTM was followed by ‘Proud Parents Day’ that was organised to honour and acknowledge excellence in academics, Sports and Cultural Activities. The Little Champs and Senior Section meritorious and star performers of 2015-16were honoured by their respected Principals Mrs.Chandrani Banerjee and Mr. M. K. Panda with mementos and certificates.
Welcoming the proud parents, The Little Champs Principal Mrs Chandrani Banerjee spoke about the strong ethos of the school and its emphasis on building a sound moral foundation in its children right at an impressionable age that will eventually make them stand steadfast and unique in their journey of life. She urged the parents to extend their support in the school’s continuous efforts to bring out the best of their children.
The junior and senior school students presented a short musical programme for the proud parents. The sprightly choir and song by the junior and senior students filled the atmosphere with the joyous spirit of Christmas and a Happy New Year.
In his concluding speech the Senior School Principal Mr M. K. Panda said that the best thing in the world is to know that your parents are smiling because of you. He urged the parents to believe in their children - one day they will make you feel proud. Sir showered his blessings on all the achievers and wished all present a Very Happy New Year.
Congratulations to all the shining stars of TJIS. We pray to God Almighty to fulfill all their dreams. May they touch the zenith of success.
