Christmas Celebration of Pre-primary on 23rd December, 2016)
“Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection.”
Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate the love of God and family and to create memories that will last forever. Jesus is God's perfect, indescribable gift. The amazing thing is that not only are we able to receive this gift, but we are able to share it with others on Christmas and every other day of the year. Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.
The pre-primary students of the Little Champs of TJIS had celebrated the Christmas Day with full zeal and zest. The Little Champs Corridor was decorated with marvelous Christmas scenario which comprised of the scene of the birth of Jesus Christ, X-Mas Tree with a lot of hanging bells and gifts, Santa Claus, stockings, bells, holy leaves, etc. There was also bonfire on the ground where the children ate cake, peanuts and popcorn. The tiny tots were all dressed up in casuals and they all sung and danced on the Christmas carol ‘Jingle Bells’. Kartik Singh of Grade U.K.G. was dressed up as Santa Claus who cut the cake and gave chocolates to everyone. Then, the toddlers played the game – “Passing the Parcel’. Everyone enjoyed the day by performing craft activity in which they made and decorated Christmas Tree with paper folding. The tiny tots were extremely excited to carry home a headgear of the reindeer antlers and a star shaped eye mask as a return gift.
“Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting.”
