Music speaks that cannot be expressed,

Music soothes the mind and gives it rest;

Music heals the heart and makes it whole,

Music flows from heaven to the soul.

While listening to relaxing music, whether instrumental or vocal, we tend to begin the journey inward. ‘Where words fail music speaks’. It is perhaps the most important part of our life that brings peace to heart and mind.Such experiences are beyond words and can only be experienced. The notes of music take the listener to the region of the unknown where there is only emotional ecstasy and transport him to a world of melody and empathy.

‘VOICE OF TJIS’ is one of such iconic musical talent contests organised by The Jain International School which provides our budding vocalists to showcase their singing talent and display their passion. The grand Finale of this great musical event was organised on Saturday, 1^st October, 2016, in the school premises with great enthusiasm and joy de vivre.

The contestants who had qualified for the Final round were all ready to give a tough musical beat to their competitors.

The judges for the event were Respected Mr RohitShukla, the Music Maestro, Junior Section Principal Respected Mrs Chandrani Banerjee, and the Cultural Co-ordinator Mrs Shilpa Tripathi judged this mega event. The contenders were judged on the criteria provided i.e. Sur, Rhythm,Pronunciation and Overall Presentation.

The event commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the esteemed guests.

The event was successfully managed by Red Jaguars under 3 groups viz. Group A, B & C and 19 contestants participated in it with full zeal and energy.

The contending singers presented their songs and mesmerised the audience with their beautiful voice quality. Each one of them was par excellence. The atmosphere was electric with the cheers of the students and the enthusiasm of the participants. It was indeed a proud moment for the parents of the contestants to witness the melodious performance of their children.

Mr Rohit Shukla appreciated and congratulated all the participants for their excellent performance.

The event finally came to the most anticipated part that was the announcement of the results and felicitationof the winners by our esteemed guests.

AnanyaTripathi and Tanishtha Roy held the reigns of the event successfully till the end.

The Contest was definitely delightful, and the participants displayed fantastic singing. We wish that the singing talent of our amateur singers will lead them to the pinnacle of success.
