INTERHOUSE FOOTBALL AND VOLLEYBALL COMPETITIONS

The object of sports and games is not merely fun or pass time in the schools but now they have become an integral part of academics. Outdoor games like Cricket, Hockey, Volley Ball and Football are popular because they instill the spirit of discipline and team-work in the students. It is, no doubt true that the discipline that is gained in playing up games is invaluable in later life. It makes for a life of co-operation and fellowship which could be used for building up a great society and a nation.

Keeping in view the benefits of games and to boost up competitive spirit in the students The Jain international School conducts Sports Tournaments on regular basis. Competing in tournaments is also good practice for coping with high-pressure situations.

Inter-house Football and Volley Ball Competitions for GROUP B & C wereheld from29^th August to 1^st September, 2016.The teams of all the four houses participated with full zeal and energy and put in all their efforts to win laurels for their respective houses.

The team members of all the four houses were introduced to the Principal Mr. M. K. Panda who wished them good luck and declared the tournament open.The results were as follows:
