We, at The Jain International School are running a Career Counselling Cell ‘Lakshya’ with the purpose of guiding the Senior students to discover their strengths and weaknesses and hence choose their careers. The advent of the new session necessitates the need to acquaint them with the varied career opportunities in different fields not only in India but abroad also. From time to time scholars and faculty members from different institutions are invited to highlight vocation possibilities to our students.

On Friday, 22^nd April, 2016 the faculty members Mr Yasir Ansari, Ms PoojaJhamnani and KhwajaUman from SIMPL-ED, a Lucknow based Career Counselling Institution visited the school.Ms Nicole More, Director of International Admission at Ohio Wesleyan University and Mr Adam Hohman, Assistant President for Enrolment and Marketing at Manchester Universityaccompanied the faculty from SIMPL-ED. The prestigious members were given a warm welcome by honourable Principal Mr M. K. Panda.

SIMPL-ED strives to bring the best opportunities in Global Higher Education to the students.It promotes Higher education abroad as it is linked with Manchester University and Ohio Wesleyan University. Mr Yasir Ansari, Director at SIMPL-ED highlighted on the opportunities provided by these universities for varied degrees. Both the universities provide world class education and aspiring and supportive environment for students. Students benefit from safe and supportive campus, affordable cost of living, sporting opportunities, societies and clubs for entertainment, and many more. They also offer a range of scholarships in order to encourage academic excellence to begin their careers.

We are sure that the session will be very beneficial and an encouraging step for the students’ future planning.
