Mission Green (Green Day & Plantation )(22nd August, 2016)
Mission Green (22nd August, 2016)
“The children of today are the adults of tomorrow.”
All the pre-primary students of grades P.G., Nursery, L.K.G. and U.K.G. were dressed up in shades of green. Some students wore green coloured objects like grapes, lady finger, cauliflower, tree, etc and the teachers described about the objects. Everyone enjoyed the Green Day thoroughly by performing the activity of palm impression on sashet with the moral ‘Go Green’ and making an octopus with a green coloured paper as a craft activity. Then, the children did an activity of plantation in which they sowed the saplings.
The tiny tots were extremely excited to wear the sashet on which they had done palm impression with the moral written ‘Go Green’ on it and a head gear of crocodile, frog and leaves, both of which they carried it home as a return gift.
"The future will be green or not at all."
