World Health Day (7th April, 2016)
World Health Day (7th April, 2016)
“Healthy isn’t a goal. It’s a way of living.”
World Health Day provides an opportunity for the world community to come together for one day, to focus on actions that can improve the health of all our people. Every year, they highlight one important issue – but we ask everyone to consider all the things we need to do to keep our people healthy and well. This year they focus on the issue of antimicrobial resistance under the theme “No action today – No cure tomorrow!”
“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.”
The primary students of The Little Champs celebrated the World Health Day by means of participating in various Intra Class Group Activities. The students of Grades 1 and 2 participated by making a chart based on Good Vs Bad Habits and Healthy Vs Junk Food respectively. The students of Grades 3 to 5 enacted about the importance and the activities related to the theme of this year. Such activities taught our students a lesson that “Health is the most important ingredient for a happy life.”
