LABOUR DAY CELEBRATIONS
LABOUR DAY CELEBRATIONS
Tuesday, 3rd May, 2016
All Labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. The Labour Day is a special occasion when people worldwide celebrate the true spirit of working class and honour the contribution of working men and women. It is observed on the first day of the month of May.
Our students at The Jain International School have been taught to value the dignity of labour. This was very vivid by the way they celebrated Labour Day and honoured the support staff. The celebrations began from Saturday, 30th April when they made Greeting Cards and gifted these tokens of love to Didis, Housekeeping Staff, Kitchen Staff and other helping hands on Monday, 2nd May.
Tuesday, 3rd May dawned with a special message for the entire school. A special Assembly was organised to pay gratitude to those helpers who are an integral part of our life. Sejal and Saloni expressed their views on Labour Day and highlighted their value and importance in our lives. Thereafter Divyanshu, Luv Jain, Krishna and Sparsh of class 11 arranged some entertaining games for them in which they participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The anchors SaloniShukla and RiyaChicker held the reigns of the entire programme in their skilful hands.
Respected Principal Mr M. K. Panda expressed his heartfelt greetings and appreciated their efforts and contribution to the society. Sir felicitated the winners with prizes and wished for their bright future.
