Earth Day & Intra Class Best Out of Waste – CCA Activity (22^nd April, 2016)

“On earth there is no heaven, but there are pieces of it.”

 

Earth Day reminds us to be better stewards of our earth.It is celebrated to inspire awareness and appreciation for the earth’s natural environment among the students. It is celebrated worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

 

“The earth is what we all have in common.”

 

The whole Little Champs celebrated the Earth Day with a medley of educational and fun activities. This magic happened during the ‘Intra Class Best Out of Waste’ – CCA Activity. They gave wings to their imagination by creating stupendous pieces of art by using the articles considered to be waste in the following ways :-

Class P.G. to U.K.G. –Coloured and did cotton dabbing on the picture of ‘I Love Earth’

Class 1- Made pineapple with pencil shavings
Class 2- Made paper bags with waste newspaper

Class 3- Made decorative items with cd
Class 4- Made pen stand with waste bottles

Class 5- Made flower vase with waste bottles

 

By means of such activities, the students understood that every day is an Earth Day.
