Navratri, Dandiya and Dussehra Celebration of Pre-Primary (20^th October, 2015)

20^th October, 2015. All nine days during Navratri are dedicated to nine forms of Goddess Shakti. Shardiya Navratri falls in the month of September or October. The nine days festivity culminates on tenth day with Dussehra or Vijayadashmi.

The pre- primary school of the Little Champs of T.J.I.S. celebrated  Navratri, Dandiya and Dussehra with full zest. A special assembly was conducted where the tiny tots recited a rhyme on Dussehra. All the students were dressed up in Gujarati attire. The tiny tots mesmerized the audience by their marvellous dandiya performance and earned a lot of applause.

They had an activity in which they tore pieces of coloured paper and pasted it on the effigy on Ravana.
