INVESTITURE CEREMONY
‘THE TORCH BEARERS –-- 2015-16
Monday, 11th May, 2015
‘TJIS bestows upon its students the ability to be future leaders of the world’.
Keeping up with this thought, the whole school was a witness to the grand ‘Investiture Ceremony’ onMonday, 11th May 2015 which instilled a sense of duty and pride in the office bearers. In accordance with TJIS Philosophy of holistic education and all round development, students are given ample opportunities to take up challenges and responsibilities in various fields.
The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic session. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.
Newly appointed Senior and Junior School Council Members were adorned with sashes and badges and received the flag from their respected PrincipalsMrs. Ira Bhat and Mrs.Chandrani Banerjee respectively. They took charge of their new positions and the Senior and Junior School CaptainsSachitAgarwal and SaiDevrathRaorespectively administered the oath of office to the new Students’ Council.They vowed to discharge their duties with sincerity and fulfil everyone’s expectations.

The Investiture Ceremony ended leaving behind an aura of joy and pride, instilling every office bearer with a sense of zeal and determination to maintain the honour and dignity of The Jain International School.Indeed it was a proud moment for one and all.
