Innovation on a Plate – No Fire, Just Taste!
A vibrant and enriching Non-Fire Cooking Activity was organized at TJIS, aimed at fostering creativity, teamwork and an appreciation for nutritious eating among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across Pre-Primary to Class VIII, who showcased their culinary flair through an array of innovative and wholesome dishes, all prepared without the use of fire.
The Pre-Primary section exhibited remarkable enthusiasm as Nursery students crafted a delightful Bhelpuri, while LKG prepared nutritious Vegetable Sandwiches, emphasizing the importance of fresh vegetables in daily diets. The UKG students impressed with their flavorful Monaco Bites, creatively assembled to blend taste and nutrition. Primary Section also contributed unique and appetizing dishes. Class 1 prepared a delectable Papdi Chaat alongside a refreshing Lemonade. Class 2 focused on health and protein intake with a nourishing Sprouts Chaat. Class 3 presented a luscious Fruit Raita, seamlessly merging taste and nutrition. Class 4 highlighted the significance of fresh fruits with an exquisite Fruit Salad and a revitalizing Rasna drink. Class 5 presents creative masterpiece—Crispy Fruit Medley, a unique fusion of crunchy chips with the freshness of fruits, adding an innovative twist to the traditional Lays Chaat.
From Middle School, students of Class VII prepared Bhelpuri, Fruit Salad, Sprouts and Coconut Laddu, Lemonade, Donuts, Green Sandwiches, Cold Coffee, and Corn Chaat. Additionally, Class VI students curated an indulgent Creamy Fruit Fantasy, a refreshing Veg Sandwich, and an exotic Salsa Fiesta. The beverage section featured the vibrant Berrylicious Bubbles and the cooling Mojito, adding a refreshing touch to the event.
The event concluded on a joyous note, with students relishing their meticulously crafted dishes while embracing the essence of healthy eating.
