TJIS commemorated Republic Day on 26th January with unparalleled patriotism and grandeur. The event commenced with a symbolic Torch Relay from Zoo Nawab Ganj, Kanpur to the school campus, epitomizing unity and national pride. The proceedings unfolded with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, the resonant rendition of the National Anthem, and the ceremonial Torch Lighting, marking the formal inauguration of the day’s celebrations.
The meticulously orchestrated March Past exemplified the students' discipline and commitment, followed by the Principal's eloquent address, which underscored the Constitution's significance. The tiny tots of pre-primary charmed the audience with their spirited participation in fun-filled races, while a mesmerizing group dance infused vibrancy into the festivities.
Little Champs of primary wing showcased commendable athletic prowess in their races, while the middle and senior school students exuded determination and tenacity in their events. Thought-provoking speeches in English and Hindi illuminated the essence of Republic Day, complemented by a soul-stirring group song that amplified the patriotic fervor. The lively teachers' race added a touch of exuberance and camaraderie to the celebration.
The event culminated with the poignant rendition of the National Song and the distribution of chocolates, leaving an indelible impression on all attendees. Medals were bestowed upon the winners of all races, lauding their exceptional performances and fostering the spirit of sportsmanship.
