Traffic Awareness Drive - “Sensitization” @TJIS, Kanpur on 28th November, 2024

TJIS, Kanpur, organized a Traffic Awareness Drive titled “Sensitization” on November 28, 2024, to educate students on road safety and the importance of traffic discipline. The event was graced by Traffic Inspector (West), Mr. Dharamveer Saroj, Sub-Inspector, Mr. Ashok Kumar, and their dedicated team. Honorable Principal, Mrs. Deepa Singh welcomed the guests with a sapling, symbolizing responsibility and growth.

The program began with an insightful session by Traffic Inspector Mr. Dharamveer Saroj, who highlighted critical traffic rules, such as wearing helmets, using seat belts, avoiding mobile phones while driving, and following traffic signals. Sub-Inspector Mr. Ashok Kumar engaged students with an interactive session, answering questions and emphasizing practical road safety measures.

A Nukkad Natak performed by lady constables creatively underscored the consequences of negligence on the road. The event concluded with students pledging to follow traffic rules, such as using pedestrian crossings, avoiding over speeding, and promoting awareness within their families.
