TJIS, Kanpur organised KSS Inter School Hindi Debate Competition, On 5th October, 2024
"The goal of debate should not be conflict but a solution."
TJIS, Kanpur organised a spirited and intellectually stimulating KSS Inter School Debate Competition where 16 schools participated with immense zeal aimed at fostering critical thinking, public speaking skills and healthy competition among students.
The programme commenced with the lighting of lamp. The judges were warmly welcomed, introduced and felicitated. The event showcased the talent and eloquence of all the participants. The debaters strongly expressed their views with confidence and conviction. The audience was absolutely captivated by the oratory skills of the budding debaters as they put forth their arguments with clarity and poise.
The judges of the event were -
I. Mrs. Uma Saxena, Hindi PGT and Vice Principal, Omkareshwar Saraswati Vidya Niketan Inter College, Kanpur
II. Mrs. Puja Verma, Assistant Professor, KSBD Mahavidyalaya, Kanpur Dehat.
III. Mrs. Meena Gupta, Hindi Pravakta, Purnadevi Khanna Girls Inter College, Kanpur
The observer of the event was Mr. Arvind Sinha, Principal of
KSBD School.
The result was verified by Mrs. Sarika Srivastava from Scholar Mission School, Kanpur.
Each participant was given a designated time to present their arguments and rebuttals, adhering to strict rules of decorum and time management. Judges assessed the depth of analysis, clarity of expression, persuasiveness of arguments, and adherence to debate etiquette.
